Alright witches – now we get it, not everyone enjoys a soak in a tub, or *HAS* a tub at their disposal. Most houses these days save room in their floorplans by excluding tubs these days, and unless you're down for a bathroom demolition, getting one installed isn't on the cards! Plus, apartment living - ain't nobody got room for tubs in there!
So below are some easy way to still benefit from our amazing range of bath soaks and teas, without having to dig a hole in the backyard for a true swamp witch experience.
With a few easy tweaks, you can still enjoy a swamp witch soak experience, below are our fave alternate uses for them!
The Devil's Own - Ritual Foot Soak
One of our ultimate favorites - this soak allows you to kick back and relax, watch the latest episode of that True Crime show you love so much and still treat yourself!
YOU’LL NEED
- Bath Soak or Tea of your choice (Shop Soaks HERE)
- Reusable Tea Bag (Available HERE) / Piece of muslin and a string to tie it up
- Foot Bath or Basin you can dunk those hooves in!
- You can also add in additional elements to enrich your foot bath such as slices of dried or fresh citrus, fresh flowers from your garden or essential oils for unscented soaks and teas.
Always ensure your additional elements are organic and pesticide free as you don’t want to add anything nasty to your soak which could then sit on your skin.
DIRECTIONS
In a small foot bath or basin, place 2-3tbs of bath tea or salts. If you prefer an easier clean up, you can use a reusable tea bag or piece of muslin.
Fill the bath with enough warm water to cover your feet completely.
Swirl the water around to distribute the soak and ensure the salts have dissolved.
Cleanse your feet before placing them into the basin. As with any ritual soak, you want to ensure you clean away the everyday dirt from your feet.
Once you are ready, submerge your feet.Sit back and enjoy the warmth.
Close your eyes and picture your intentions soaking into your feet, soaking up into your legs, hips, stomach, chest and head, pushing out all the negativity of the day out.
Once you have completed your foot soak, pat your feet dry with a soft towel.
Apply a light foot cream if you desire
Collect the botanicals and return them to the earth as thanks.
Rinse and clean your reusable teabag of any excess botanicals and allow to dry
** We always recommend not tipping you Bath Soak water into a garden, vegetable patch, potted plants or on grassed areas. Although the water you have used is minimal for this foot soak, there is salt in the water, which can dehydrate plants and ruin soil for future planting.
